Moog's Corporate Group is looking for a Global Environmental, Emergency Planning, and Dangerous Goods Manager to join them. You will report to the Global EHS Manager and will be expected to be on-site full-time in East Aurora, NY.

As the Global Environmental, Emergency Planning, and Dangerous Goods Manager you will work with Moog sites around the world to develop standards and implement programs for wastewater treatment, solid waste disposal and shipping dangerous goods. This position will be required to travel globally to collaborate with site teams and assess waste disposal facilities to ensure that there is successful implementation of these programs.  

Travel is approximately - 25% - 30%.

 

To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field.
  • 7+ years progressive EHS experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Environmental Engineering and Dangerous Goods Transportation  

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide guidance on profiling waste, shipping chemicals and wastewater treatment to other Moog EHS professionals within Moog.
  • Develop global Moog EHS Standards and help implement them at Moog sites.
  • Teach Sites waste standards and provide supporting technical information as appropriate.
  • Develop and help to implement training events, lessons learned, and other communication tools which will help reduce implementation burden across multiple sites.
  • Participate in Corporate EHS Compliance audits of sites
  • Help identify and implement cost-saving opportunities that benefit multiple sites across an operating group, and helping evaluate site EHS budgetary needs, skills gaps, and communication responsibilities.
  • Help select, approve, and manage 3rd party expert resources, such as consultants, laboratories, disposal sites that sites need to use in support of their EHS programs.

The base pay range for this opportunity is $111,009.60 – $130,000.00.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.

 

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
