Our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Finance and Analysis Manager to join them at our East Aurora, New York location. You will report to the Commercial Aircraft Group Vice President of Finance.

 

As the Finance and Analysis Manager, you will oversee financial operations within the operating group, ensuring strict adherence to accounting principles and financial reporting requirements. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring the adherence to internal controls, executing the month-end close, conducting variance analysis, and leading the group’s financial reporting team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll meet company reporting requirements and enhance overall financial performance.

 

 

To be considered for the Finance and Analysis Manager role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • CPA is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role of similar scope, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of ERP business systems, internal controls, and US-GAAP.

 

As a Finance and Analysis Manager, you will:

  • Be a change champion for process improvement impacting Commercial Aircraft Group financial practices and processes.
  • Lead the coordination of external audits, acting as a first point of contact for reporting and information.
  • Develop and mentor a small team of direct reports.
  • Review and approve all monthly closing entries and reconciliations.
  • Provide trend analysis on actual results and key KPIs.
  • Support group financial modeling and pricing analysis, as needed.

The base pay range for this opportunity is $111,010 - $155,000 per year.

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include a profit share bonus, employee stock purchase plan, a flexible paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
