Moog Industrial is looking for a Division Financial Specialist to join our Site Finance Team.

Your role as a Division Financial Specialist extends beyond the traditional financial analysis and reporting.  You will be integral in providing critical financial insights that inform strategic decision-making.  We at ICD Finance pride ourselves as being business partners to the various value streams and other functions which makes our role imperative to the future success of our business.  

As a Division Financial Specialist, you will: 

 

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages; including P&L statements, balance sheet summaries, and analysis of trends to explain variances from plan. This may include but is not limited to sales, inventory, product costs, allocations, overhead rates, capital spending etc.
  • Assist with the accumulation of data required for the annual and long-range sales and operating plan. Interaction with sales, engineering, and manufacturing is necessary to ensure that components of the plan (headcount, expense levels, capital, etc.) are aligned with achieving the site’s profit targets. Communication with group services is also important in understanding and budgeting allocations.
  • Utilize 80/20 principles to develop monthly segmented P&Ls and support the various initiatives to grow the individual product lines as the Finance Business Partner to the various segments. 

Principal Accountabilities Summary:

 

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages
  • Oversee the Month End Close Process
  • Financial and Costing Variance Analysis
  • Assist with Budget and Forecast Prep & Analysis
  • Partner with leaders of ICD’s product lines to develop long-range plans and provide analytical support
  • Interact with Demand team to prepare monthly sales forecasts as part of Integrated Business Planning
  • Provides estimates of product costs to pricing group for customer proposals
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Interact with all functional areas of the business
  • Develop and execute various ad-hoc projects and reports as needed 

To be considered for the Division Financial Specialist role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: 

 

  • Bachelor Level Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing environment in the areas of cost accounting, variance analysis, or financial reporting
  • Knowledge of Long term project accounting
  • This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with SAP / OneStream preferred
  • Knowledge of 80/20 & IBP preferred

Salary Range:

 

The base pay range for this opportunity is $80,000 - $120,000.00 per year.

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
