Position Overview

Step into the world of innovation at Moog Reading Ltd as a Trainee Electro-Mechanical Assembler. We’re on the lookout for dynamic individuals eager to learn and contribute to our industry-leading endeavors.

As a trainee, you’ll be immersed in the assembly of complex electro-mechanical components, gaining hands-on experience with sub-assemblies and final assemblies of slip ring products. You’ll learn to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency while interpreting assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.

What We’re Seeking

  • Keen interest in manufacturing processes
  • Willingness to learn electro-mechanical assembly
  • Basic soldering skills and desire to advance them
  • Eagerness to acquire wire preparation, jointing, crimping, and connector termination skills
  • Motivation to master the use of hand tools, soldering equipment, jigs, fixtures, testing devices, and gauging equipment

Security Clearance Requirements

Trainees will be assisted in obtaining the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. Note that clearance is a prerequisite for continued employment. For more details, visit www.gov.uk.
