International Trade Compliance Administrator

Location: Moog B.V., Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands

To reinforce our Global Trade Compliance Team, we are looking for an:

International Trade Compliance Administrator

Function of the role.

Supporting the International Trade Compliance Manager in the administration and application of Moog B.V., EU, APAC and US Trade Compliance rules and regulations that apply to the Moog Industrial Group facilities. 

Role Requirements

 This role will involve the following activities:

·         Prepare, monitor, and implement Dutch export license applications, as needed.

·         Prepare periodic reporting on export license utilization.

·         Assist with the administration of Moog B.V., EU, APAC and US licenses and agreements, ensuring they remain current with business requirements and supporting information is obtained and retained on file.

·         Assist other internal departments with trade compliance matters.  Examples may include reviewing shipping export paperwork, assisting with commodity classifications.

·         Perform denied party and transaction screening in OCR/SAP GTS.  Advise personnel on changes to denied party listing which may impact Moog Industrial Group business practices.

·         Assign electronic licenses to internal IT systems to ensure documentation access rights comply with the relevant export control legislation and authorizations in place.

·         Maintain filing systems to manage export records while meeting government record retention requirements.

·         Assist Moog personnel with foreign travel export concerns.  Assist in advising OG on foreign visitor export concerns and in developing Technology Control Plans.

·         Assist with supplier and customer questionnaire activities to ensure adequate license coverage is in place.

·         Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of the employee visitor systems ensuring access rights comply with site security and export control requirements.

·         Support the International Trade Compliance Manager in the maintenance and compliance with Moog B.V., EU, APAC and US regulations.

·         Assist with the generation and provision of Trade Compliance training and knowledge, best practices and processes sharing.

Qualifications

·         The successful candidate must possess a strong attention to detail.

·         He/she must underwrite the importance of compliance to legal regulations and be able to advocate that in a way that others understand and accept that.

·         Affinity with international trade and with compliance requirements on international trade.

·         Ability to interface with all departments within the business with consideration of different cultures globally.

·         Self-motivated and directed, capable of working independently.

·         Ability to be proactive in recognizing and adjusting to shifting priorities.

·         A willingness to research solutions to trade compliance requirements, identify internal experts and seek out solutions.

·         Ability to work under pressure to meet timescales and resolve issues.

·         Good oral and written communication skills, in Dutch as well as in the English language

·         SAP/GTS experience is a plus but is not required.

No prior trade compliance experience necessary as on the job training will be provided. Experience within a regulated industry and working knowledge of Moog B.V., EU, APAC and US trade regulations would be beneficial.   This role is tailored for potential future career growth.
