Moog’s Fluids Controls Group leads multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions for complex technical applications in the rapidly growing Space Sector.  The group has been awarded several cryogenic valves to be used in rocket applications. In addition, there are several new opportunities for fluid control devices in support of the Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS). These exciting development projects expand Moog’s platform of fluid control devices to support launch and exploration vehicles.

Current projects at Moog include the following types of hardware development: cryogenic ball valves, cryogenic relief valves, solenoid and latch valves for storable propellants, solenoid and latch valves for high pressure gas, brushless DC motor-driven valves as well as pressure control and regulation hardware.

The Senior Project Engineer is a primary motivator and contributor to the analysis, conceptual design, development, and testing of complex control hardware used on military, commercial and NASA vehicles and equipment. •         Demonstrated understanding achieved through experience in the design, analysis, development and production of complex electromechanical hardware.
  •         Self-starting instincts and strong analytical skills, both required to fulfill the demands of design and development of new products.
  •         Experience with component design, development and verification testing.
  •        The ability to effectively communicate technical and programmatic information and to manage competing priorities of multiple stakeholders.
