Moog Medical Devices Group designs, manufactures, and distributes industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. Through investment in research & development and relying on our vast expertise, we design and develop advanced infusion systems that improve medication safety, optimize application performance, and reduce medical expenses.

Moog Medical Devices Group is looking for a Senior Director of IV/Enteral Sales.  You will be responsible for the overall sales operation of assigned product lines in a defined geographic area, achieving sales and profit objectives, by working with direct reports of IV and Enteral National Sales Directors and National Account Managers.  You will report to the Moog Medical Devices GVP/GM.   Our preferred candidate will be local to our Salt Lake City location.   However, we're open to candidates who reside near other US Moog locations as well. Remote work arrangements will be considered.

To be considered for the Senior Director of IV/Enteral Sales, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.,B.S.) or equivalent; and ten years enteral and or IV related experience.
  • Experience with team building; ability to encourage growth and leadership within the IV and Enteral teams.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate both direct and non-direct sales representatives.
  • Proven experience and ability to measure a sales team performance and make recommendations for improvement and direct changes, as necessary.
  • Working knowledge of clinical environment associated with MMDG products being promoted; This includes, but is not limited to enteral therapy and IV clinical practice standards, clinical protocols for targeted care areas and regulations associate with patient confidentiality (HIPPA)
  • Travel:  Approximately 60% (Domestic and/or International)
  • Broad understanding of health care reimbursement scenarios, by care site and relevance to MMDG product acquisitions and pricings strategies
  • Mentoring, coaching, teaching, and supervisory skills
  • Understanding of Sales Cycles for assigned MMDG products and markets and with a proven track record.
  • Proficient in the use of technology, including pc’s, operating software, standard business software packages.

 

As a Senior Director of IV/Enteral Sales you will:

 

Supervise and Direct National Sales Directors and National Accounts Managers

  • Analyze trends in prior sales and current existing business.
  • Assist in goal setting and account business strategies.
  • Travel regularly (as needed) with Directors of National Sales and National Accounts to assess their performance and to assist in problem solving and closing of sales opportunities.
  • Meet company quotas for equipment and related disposables annually and quarterly basis.
  • Measure and improve gross profit margins.
  • Support other company objectives as assigned by the VP / General Manager
  • Work closely with marketing, clinical and operations teams.

 

Develop New Business

  • Attend Trade Shows, conferences, and executive meetings to establish relationships and new sales opportunities.
  • Travel to meet with prospective and existing clients to develop new and existing business.
  • Meet with internal teams to define projects to create new targets.
  • Direct reports to seek new prospects for organic growth.
  • Create and negotiate business contracts with new and existing accounts.
  • Develop sales strategies for both IV and Enteral teams annually and measure effectiveness at mid-year.

 

Supervise and Direct Directors of National Sales Managers and National Accounts Managers

  • Analyze trends in existing business.
  • Assist in goal setting and account business strategies.
  • Travel regularly (as needed) with Directors of National sales and National Accounts to assess their performance and to assist in problem solving and new business closure opportunities.

 

 

Direct Business and Distributor Activities

  • Direct goal setting and resource allocations for promotion of MMDG products through a distributor
  • Conduct regularly (as needed) scheduled QBR’s with team directors and distributor principles
  • Assure direct reports and distributors follow MMDG established business practices; compliant with regulatory requirements that adheres strictly to contract requirements and generally represents MMDG in an ethical and professional manner  

  

Support Internal Customers

  • Meet, with Executive Management to update members of business growth and plan for the future growth and or loss of business.
  • Attend executive meetings as required.
  • Support other senior executives and their departments to manage the overall business objectives.
