The Arvada, CO location is nestled near the foothills of the front range, just west of Denver. The office is a 10-minute drive from downtown Golden and Arvada and is an easy commute from most of the Denver Metro area. Colorado offers year-round outdoor activities and is a melting pot of cultures.

Our team in Arvada, CO is looking for a Space Vehicles Program Manager to serve within the Program Management Office (PMO) to initially support other Program Managers with ongoing programs while learning the technologies and processes of the business unit in preparation for leading programs as the primary Program Manager.  You will assist with program artifact development and review, as well as interface with customers to ensure service and performance excellence.  You will also serve as an important linchpin between the program and the broader Moog business.

To be considered for the Space Vehicles Program Manager role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent, plus 7 years of program/project management experience
  • 3 years of Space Systems Integration program experience
  • 3 years of experience with MS Office suite and MS Project
  • 1 year of experience with Material Resource Planning tools and processes

As a Space Vehicles Program Manager, you will:

  • Achieve program/project goals through effective application of program management principles within the confines of scope, schedule and budget defined by the contractual requirements.
  • Partner with the Contracts Manager to ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities.
  • Prepare, and submit multiple high-quality contractual documents and artifacts.
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and analysis of Microsoft Project Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Partner with the Finance Manager to analyze and report on program financial performance, including updating Estimates to Complete and reporting on monthly variances to budget and forecast.
  • Sustain and expand our book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns.
  • Drive the programs from planning and initiation, through execution and closeout while leading effective risk and opportunity management practices.
  • Lead Program Review sessions to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance.
  • Participate in periodic / recurring customer meetings to discuss program planning and status.
  • Manage program Supply Chains and material acquisition plans with the Procurement and Operations functional teams.
  • Be an important contributor to the preparation of successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical volume write ups.

Salary Range:

The base pay range for this opportunity is $111,010 - $173,181 per year.
