Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Production Manager to join them. You will report to the Galax Site GM and will have an onsite work schedule in Galax, VA.

To be considered for Production Manager, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 10 years, in a manufacturing business, with a proven track record of success in a position of increasing responsibility. Printed circuit manufacturing and assembly industry experience preferred.
  • To be able to initiate and lead continuous improvement efforts in 6S, Quality, and performance.
  • To have demonstrated the ability to work in a team environment, with major emphasis on improving quality, profitability, output, and outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments at the same time and possess a strong sense of urgency.
  • Prior supervisory working experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A good understanding of computer software such as Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of an ERP system.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.

As a Production Manager, you will:

As the Production Manager of our fast-paced Printed Circuit Board division, you will help lead the efforts of the production team and members of the Production Control team in a growing business. You will monitor, drive and report on performance metrics on a recurring basis. You will help coordinate activity with our vendors to achieve aggressive shipment schedules.
