Production Electronic Technician

Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Production Electronic Technician to join them. You will report to the Production Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule at our business unit, Genesys Aerosystems, located in Mineral Wells, TX. Genesys Aerosystems delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries.

 

To be considered for Production Electronic Technician, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic understanding or experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, technical procedures, workmanship standards, safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals
  • Basic understanding or experience calculating figures using concepts such fractions, percentages, ratios, and convert fraction to decimal equivalents.
  • Follow strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment and participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug and Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

As a Production Electronic Technician, you will:

  • Assemble, test, repair, and evaluate electronic components.
  • Operate conventional test equipment and tools. (Digital Voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate specific test equipment.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, assembly lines and Quality Control
  • Perform test on products per engineering specifications.
  • Interpret specifications, drawings, job orders, and test procedures.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering adjust work procedures.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, efficiency, performance, and quality of product.
  • Troubleshoot problems to discrete component levels.
  • Use knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
  • Maintain product troubleshooting failure reports and test reports.
  • Ensure product traceability.
  • Solder electronic components to circuit boards
  • Use advanced computer skills.

Salary Range and Pay DisclaimerThe base pay range for this opportunity is $20.00-$30.00 per hour.

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include a profit share bonus, employee stock purchase plan, a flexible paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
