Moog’s Corporate Group is looking for an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager (EHS) to help with establishing global Moog EHS standards. This position will need to have expertise in Emergency Planning, Environmental Engineering and Dangerous Goods Transportation, with a focus on Emergency Planning. The incumbent will work with Moog sites around the world to develop corporate standards, determine priorities and implement EHS Programs. This position will be required to travel globally to collaborate with site teams to ensure that there is a successful implementation of these programs.



  • Provide regulatory guidance to other Moog EHS professionals within Moog.
  • Develop global Moog EHS Standards and assist with implementing them at Moog sites.
  • Teach Sites regulatory changes within the region and provides supporting technical information appropriate to their knowledge level for Site responses to government agency notices and other internal & external party audits. 
  • Develop and help to implement training events, lessons learned, mind maps and other communication tools which will help reduce implementation burden across multiple sites in an Operating Group.
  • Participate in Corporate EHS Compliance audits of sites (excluding sites within their Operating Group).
  • Help Operating Group Director identify and implement cost saving opportunities that benefit multiple sites across an operating group, as well as assisting in evaluating site EHS budgetary needs, skills gaps, and communications/ responsibilities.
  • Help select, approve, and manage 3rd party expert resources, such as consultants, laboratories, disposal sites that sites need to use in support of their EHS programs.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, environmental, civil engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of EHS engineering and compliance
  • Regulatory knowledge and expertise in Emergency Action Planning, Environmental & Dangerous Goods Transportation


Preferred Qualifications:

  • EHS compliance experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience implementing and managing EHS compliance programs  
  • Competency in EHS principles associated with international standards such as ISO management and audit systems (OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001)
  • Proven capabilities and sufficient experience with remediation technologies
  • Proven experience in EHS engineering control design and selection, working with government agencies, and international environmental related regulations.
  • Experience auditing disposal sites such as cement kilns, incinerators, fuels blending, reclamation and landfills.
  • Experience with project plans and project management
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project and EHS related software such as Sphera, Intelex, Dakota and Enhesa; ability to quickly learn new platforms
  • Experience with the use of emergency response and cleanup equipment
  • CSP or IAEM certification is a plus


This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
