EDM Cell Utility Operator – 3rd Shift

Starting Salary: $28.16/ hour + 10% differential for off-shift ($30.97/hour)

What You Can Expect:

  • You will run/operate multiple machines with high inspection rate and long cycle times.
  • With a high degree of comfort, you will inspect all work performed and detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts using inspection processes and practices
  • You will be expected to recognize errors in blueprints, operations sheets and other written instructions
  • You will participate in the planning of work and resolving problems within the Cell using team skills. 
  • You will positively contribute to the teamwork environment in terms of productivity, cooperation, data collection and attitude. 
  • You may be required to support production within the Manufacturing Shop and other duties assigned by manager.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • 6 months of EDM machining experience, which should include minimum of 6 months deburring small parts.
  • The ability to work 3rd Shift
  • Demonstrated ability to use shop math, work from charts, tables, drawings, blueprints, operation sheets and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use adjustable measuring instruments much as micrometers and calipers.

 Additional Requirements:

  •  Experience with EDM Sinker, EDM Wire, EDM Current (CNC & Manual) is a plus!

*In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.
