Our team in Moog's Space & Defense Group is looking for an Associate Design Analysis Engineer to join them. You will report to the Sr. Engineering Systems Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Engineering 
  • Basic knowledge of closed‑loop control systems and mechanical hardware design

 

Overview:

You will contribute to the analysis, conceptual design, development, and test of complex control hardware used on military, commercial and NASA vehicles and equipment. Our products are generally unique for each customer. Therefore, most new applications require a special, tailored design, even though adaptation of existing designs always should be considered where appropriate. You will operate as part of a design/development team, which includes other Department engineers. You may be assisted by drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.

  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
  • Contribute to the preparation of successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical write-ups and reports.
  • Operate as a contributing member in a team of creative, independent individuals.
  • Help create reliable designs by supporting a comprehensive experimental development test program.
  • Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical reputation.

Salary Range:

The base pay range for this opportunity is $65,000 - $80,000 per year

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.

Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
