Finance AR/AP Specialist
MOOG is looking for an experienced and dedicated accounting professional to maintain and interpret all company financial records.
This person will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks crucial to the success of our business, including invoicing sales
and collecting accounts receivable, booking payables and processing payments, performing weekly reconciliation of accounts, and arranging
monthly VAT reports. As a go-to financial expert, the accounting professional will help identify areas for streamlining processes
and achieving greater efficiencies while assisting with the smooth daily operations of our finance department.
Objectives of this role
•    Perform accounting duties within a fast-paced finance department while adhering to established standards.
•    Manage accounts receivable and payable, following up on invoices when necessary.
•    Liaise with other departments as required to collect information and execute controls.
•    Help uphold the integrity of the company’s finances.
•    Ensure that the company adheres to applicable local and national regulations, as well as corporate policies, that impact finances.
Responsibilities
•    Examine financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
•    Support auditors during periodical reviews of accounting books and financial statements.
•    Inspect and update all documentation and systems related to accounting and company finances.
•    Help establish company best practices related to accounting.
•    Suggest thoughtful, scalable approaches to reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving margins.
Required skills and qualifications.
•    Proficiency with electronic systems that integrate general ledger with subledgers, as well as manufacturing and distribution.
•    Knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and best practices
•    Significant experience with office productivity applications, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and approaches.
•    Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time, whether working independently or as part of a team
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information.
